Tonight I voted against the Republican bill to deny health care subsidies to 20 million Americans. I will not vote for a bill that fails to lower health care costs and does nothing to make groceries and electric bills more affordable for working families.

I extend my sincere condolences to the loved ones of Mr. Herbert Brown. For more than 101 years, Herbert lived an exceptional life; he served in WW2, owned Maryland's 1st Black-owned full-service travel agency, and was one of Baltimore's political "Godfathers." May he rest in peace. #Baltimore #RIP
