It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.
I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

Spending a month on Bluesky has created a whole new model of a fight we need to be having right now. Not liberal vs. conservative or whatever, but respect vs manipulation.

penso mto que nossa presença na internet é impactante não só pq somos muitos mas tb porque somos enxeridos. basta saber o básico de inglês/espanhol que a gente se enfia nos assuntos dos gringos, nos apropriamos dos memes, opinamos em coisa que não é da nossa conta acho lindo isso

@pfrazee.com my only complaint so far is that when I open the app/refresh my feed, it goes to the most recent posts instead of showing where I left off and I need to scroll down until I find something I recognize and then scroll back up in order to see things in chronological order
