The fact that this crisis now seems to have been averted should not lead to complacency.
All is 'not' good.
While I am glad it has been resolved, I am deeply worried how we got here, and I am worried moving forward.

Absolutely, Rutte's "speak softly" diplomacy helped save the NATO alliance yesterday, but it could only have succeeded in combination with European leaders drawing firm red lines, displaying solidarity and rattling "big (economic) sticks" (plus signs of concern on the markets and among the GOP)

My big concern is that the #Greenland and #Ukraine files are merging
Europe needs Trump to solidify security guarantees for Ukraine to be able to make any peace deal work
