So, Trump's little boy game-playing cosplay to rebrand the Defense Department with the nickname "Department of War" could cost $2 BILLION if the effort goes forward.

Polling analyst Sarah Longwell, who runs The Bullwark, says that if you put all three major races together from last Tuesday, women under 30 voted Democratic by…82%!!

“That is a massive margin...It’s like a total ownership by the Democratic Party of this young cohort of women."

Trump tells Laura Ingraham on Fox he wants to bring immigrants to the U.S. to work because "we also do have to bring in talent." And says we "don't have talent" in the U.S.

Make America great again?? America first???

Imagine if President Biden said this.

If you missed LAST WEEK TONIGHT with Jon Oliver on Sunday, the Main Story was on Felony Murder, which is perhaps different from what most people think. The U.S. is also the only major nation that still has the law. Somehow, they even make the story funny.

I understand the disappointment, even anger by many of the deal 8 Democratic senators made, while all others held firm (including in the House). Tho looking closer at some details, it has one small but significant gain and causes huge problems for MAGOPs.

Randy Rainbow has a new song parody. It's a bit difference from others, pretty blunt -- and a great production. Here it is.

All opinions are just that, & I am no expert. But 3 months ago I began keeping notes on why I think the Mid-Terms are headed very strong for Democrats. Even with gerrymandering & gutting Voting Rights. It's just an opinion -- but with about 15 REASONS why.

On this episode of the NPR quiz show WAIT, WAIT... DON'T TELL ME!, the guest contestant is Cynthia Nixon. She has a lot of entertaining stories about Broadway (where she once appeared in 2 shows at the same time!), SEX IN THE CITY and THE GILDED AGE.

Well, this isn't good. Only 2 days after Trump's team tries to hide that fell asleep at an Oval Office event (about health).

The man who yammered "Sleepy Joe".

This isn't sleepy, he's becoming Rip Van Winkle.

In the words of Ronald Reagan, "There you again."

P.S. I know that Trump's dementia has been normalized so much that we give such things a pass because saying "Imagine if President Biden said this" would be an endless loop. Well... it’s not normal.

Imagine if President Biden said ANY of this. Let alone ALL. Let alone far more.
Trump is showing more signs of dementia (or "cognitive issues").

Fell asleep at WH health event yesterday.

Said: "We've never had a president that solved one war."

Thinks Joe Biden was president on Jan. 6.

Said “4,000” have “recently been killed in Chicago. Chicago Tribune reports 276 ALL YEAR.

Press Secretary Leavitt always tries to claim Trump & MAGOPs are SO "transparent". Yet the WH won't release a new jobs report. The last was for AUGUST (and was a 2nd straight month of negative jobs loss). But no reports for Sept & Oct? And no new inflation reports. For the last one, inflation rose.
November 7, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Most of that has been blocked by either the far-right Supreme Court or by MAGOPs in Congress who've blocked measures which (with the filibuster) need 60 votes to override. It's not that the "corporate interests" have blocked most of those issues.
Both parties are beholden to their corporate PAC donors.. not us. Their records in legislation prove this. When's the last time anything we have been screaming for has gotten passed? (voter rights, abortion rights, housing 4 all, universal healthcare, living wages, affordable education...)

It's almost hilarious that MAGOPs are focusing SO much on who the mayor of NYC will be...when most Americans couldn't care less. Meanwhile, tho, it shows the party is ignoring inflation, tariffs, SNAP benefits, healthcare and *much* more. But...the mayor!

After trying 3 times for a felony indictment and failing, it's hilarious that acting U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro couldn't even get a *misdemeanor* conviction against the "Subway sandwich" thrower!!!

That's what you get for naming yet another Fox host to an important job.
November 7, 2025 at 6:16 AM
Democrats are thrilled with all the big wins on Tuesday. And they've jumped hard on the "affordability" issue for working people. Democrats have *always* been for working people (far, far more than MAGOPs), but in recent years they didn't put that first, focusing more on social issues.
Mamdani's win was a win for the working class across the nation & they recognize this. So does the DNC - that's why lead Dems are pretending it didn't happen.
November 7, 2025 at 6:13 AM
The immediate reaction by MAGOPs to Tuesday's disastrous election for them were best summarized by 2 specific quotes -- one trying to call Zohran Mamdani the new Democratic leader, & the other denying they did badly. Here's more on them, & MAGOP panic.

For today's Adorable Animal Video, I don't quite how to properly describe it to do it justice. So, I'll just say it's weird, fun & wildly entertaining -- about a fish loaded with personality...who almost thinks it's a dog.

I hope that MAGOPs keep whining about Zohran Mamdani.

Most Americans hardly care about NYC, & less about who their mayor is (who has little power). It doesn't even register on American actual concerns.

And the more MAGOPs whine, Americans will see them ignoring inflation, healthcare & more.
