The other day I was sent a post from the other app on WhatsApp. F1 Academy driver Nina Gademan faced a character assassination from GPBlog. It was a highly misogynistic and sexist opinion piece from Ludo Van Denderen, who clearly lives in the stone age. This says a lot about the people running it.

Especially when F1 drivers in particular voice their support and enthousiasm regarding the series Gademan drives in. A little bit of respect in return wouldn't be too much of an ask, right?* Nina Gademan. To be honest, just as with the average reader that name wouldn't ring any bells. According to Wikipedia, Gademan practices motorsports on an amateur level, without any remarkable results. In British Formula 4 she couldn't compete, with a best finish of 11th and a 19th place in the championship standings. *Gademan's womanhood her backup plan* Every male driver would have concluded that motor racing wouldn't be his strong suit, but Gademan had a backup plan: she is a woman, so she has a safety net in F1 Academy. A series where keeping the wheel straight is qualification enough, so the Dutch woman could jump in with the support of the Alpine F1 team. For those unaware: F1 Academy cars are of a comparable level to F4 cars, but in this series only women participate. The most ridiculous situations often occur in this F1 Academy, with a very questionable level of drivers. Which by the way is an opinion you're not allowed to have by the woke community. Gademan won a race in F1 Academy, at Zandvoort. Although there was probably no-one consciously watching. However, she did get the opportunity to criticise fellow drivers like Lance Stroll last Friday on Ziggo Sport. She said: “The guy has his highs, but his lows are so bad. He doesn't seem to beam of motivation. He doesn't seem to have the fire inside.” Firstly, every pundit is entitled to their opinion. But Gademan is not a pundit, she is a driver of a rival F1 team. So to not say anything negative about a fellow driver, in this case Stroll, is juat basic decency. *F1 drivers support F1 Academy* Furthermore, there has been plenty of overt support for F1 Academy by the F1 drivers, despite them privately thinking that whatever those ladies are doing makes little sense. And imagine if Lance Stroll would have said the same about Gademan, that she didnt't have the right mindset. The outrage would be enormous. It would suit Gademan to keep her opinions to herself in these kinds of TV shows, or perhaps she should even refrain from going on the show in the first place. Until then she should be ashamed for her performance on Ziggo Sport and apologise to Lance Stroll.

Good to see Acosta calling this out. If a rider of driver dies in practice or qualifying, races should not go ahead. It's incredibly poor taste.

Same goes for F1 with Spa 2019.

'But they would want things to carry on'. Well, with time it can be done. Cancel the rest of the event.
