Saw #Oasis at MetLife last night and was kinda chuckling that they played 0 songs from their last four albums. They've seriously memory holed those babies. In fact, they played more B-sides (2) than songs released in the 2000s.

UNC fans. This all-Carolina issue from SLAM is out now and i contributed two stories: one on the 05 title team and another on the Final Four victory over Duke. The whole issue is a fun read.

Asked chatgpt for a list of Silver Age artists that are still alive. It gave me:
Neal Adams
John Romita Sr

Er, no.

Superman just didn't do it for me. Tone was all over the place. No authenticity, emotion or stakes. Even when it's attempted, it gets undermined by a bad joke. One second Clark's parents are dumb hayseeds who don't know how to use a phone, next dad is giving a tearful lesson on values.

Will marvel and dc ever cross over in movies?
I wrote a book about the marvel-dc rivalry so i get asked this a lot.
My answer used to be, never gonna happen. The rights are so complicated and the studios would never want to help each other's properties.
Now though... I'm not so sure....

Was asked to run down my 5 favorite books about comic book history.

Tough to choose but ultimately went with these from Joe Simon, Paul Kupperberg, Dave Gibbons and more..

What would your choices have been???

Enjoyed Fortune and Glory: the Musical. Was ultimately disappointed though that his involvement in the infamous Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark pretty much boiled down to two short meetings. Still a fun read about his life and breaking into comics.

Just finished these and I'm not exaggerating when i say they might be among my favorite graphic novels ever. Hard-as-nails, unvarnished look inside the Baltimore PD and Squarzoni geniusly adapts it. Perfect blend of words and pictures.
