@woosoxc.bsky.social IMHO the WooSox NESN announcers do a better job delivering a more enjoyable viewing experience than the BosSox announcers. The WooSox announcers talk about what I am viewing. The Boston announcers, especially when at home, have more chatty guests than the Tonight Show.

So, how many click-bait articles have you read today suggesting the Red Sox have traveled aded for a 1st baseman? I found 3, only to realize it was some writer's flight of fancy. Being a sports column writer is an occupation where you can fabricate much of what you write and get a steady income.

Has anyone considered that what we are seeing from Trevor Story is not a slump but this is what he is? That maybe the injuries of the last couple of years masked the fact that his good years are behind him? That the hot streaks provide a false expectation that "he's back"?

I left my cable TV supplier because they dropped NESN. Got NESN on FUBO. Is today's game on FUBO 's NESN? No, today's game is on NESN Nation, streamed thru Roku. So now there is NESN, NESN+,NESN 360 and NESN Nation. Sure wish one of them was good.

#1 If Red Sox were going to put pressure on Devers to move off 3rd base why didn't the just trade for Arenado and save themselves a ton of cash? 2 If management didn't keep Devers in the loop prior to signing a guy they planned to put on 3rd base they have some terrible skills.

Would someone explain to me why it is being said that Tristan Casas is injury prone. He was out this season but the only other injury was in A-ball with something entirely unrelated. Nobody is suggesting he was dogging it so I don't get it.

Maybe getting a solid ace into the Red Sox pitching staff encourages one of the power hitting right handed bats to sign on as well.
