Fiancé stopped me yesterday after painting a bedroom for her mom. Explained that she really appreciates what I've been doing for her (us) & her mom and I guess it didn't occur to me how much it matters. I've primed and painted two rooms, pulled up disgusting carpet and gotten rid of it,

I need to figure out how to care less about what others think of me. I have toxic coworkers spreading lies about me behind my back. They & their words don't matter, but it still feels pretty shitty.
