Before anyone gets mad at us, WCU fans are as much to blame as anyone for this one.

After all it’s a user poll and we have a cat amount of WCU fans who didn’t help get them into the Top 25 (or 30 for that matter).

Coaching is a mental game. But coaching Weber is no longer a Mental game.
Weber State has parted ways with football coach Mickey Mental, who went 3-7 this season and was 13-20 (8-14 Big Sky) in three overall years.

Brent Myers (offensive line) has been named interim head coach for the season’s final two games.

As we’ve been saying for weeks: the SoCon is (and should be) a single bid league this year.

Their 2nd best team (WCU) has 3 FCS losses and hasn’t beat a team sitting above .500

Their best (Mercer) will still not have beat a ranked team come Monday. And that Presby loss, uffda.

Harvard, Lehigh, Lamar, and SFA contending for 1st round byes while SDSU is fighting to stay in the playoff field and UIW is just playing for fun.

Would argue the world is upside down if not for a talented Western Carolina under Kerwin Bell once again on the outside looking in.

Just a little more comparison vs FCS opps to put the committee's placement of the Montana schools in context

MSU: 7-1, average score of 39-12, has trailed at any point in only 2 games (SDSU, NAU)

UM: 8-0, average score of 41-24, has trailed at half in 3 games (CP, IdahoSt, UND)

Willing to die on this hill: no it didn’t

Rutgers-Princeton played using rules based off the London Football Association's Laws of the Game.

The goal was to score a point by kicking a round ball into the opposing team's goal. They were prohibited from carrying or throwing the ball.

It was soccer.

After simmering on the committee's top 10 all day, it does seem like they are punishing Montana and Tennessee Tech for scheduling Division 2 opponents while rewarding Montana State and Lehigh for scheduling only Division 1 opponents

Harvard gets the cold shoulder and SDSU—a team that just got worked over by Indiana State—is somehow given a free pass into the second round?

Wild nonsense.

North Dakota State, the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota.

This also marks the first time since 2021 that SDSU has not been on our banner.

Surely this is sustainable for the #2 team in the country
That's right, Grambling, you're No. 1 in fourth-quarter comeback wins this season.

We have playoff spots that can be clinched this week!
