Having a podcast has really helped and hurt with this
The GM only has to prep for 90ish minutes of play (edited down to 60-80), but also have to prep a couple of reasonable and satisfying ending points and make sure that enough gets "covered" for the listener
It's an interesting challenge!

does anyone know of an affordable print shop that does booklet-size printing that allows you to request a specific, out-of-house cover paper, for an order size of 500-1000 booklets? near to Pittsburgh is great, but not a necessity!
