Indeed we have come a long way in establishing how to prevent depression. Perhaps this is one of the very few innovations that mental health sciences made in the past half a century, after the psychopharmacological revolution in the 1960s. authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S...

Digital interventions are attractive to increase treatment uptake in depression, but we also need to know who requires other forms of care.

1/2 In a new open access study in BMJ Psych Open, we investigated the stability individual depression symptoms over a 9-year period in the NESDA data, with a focus on suicidal ideation. Fantastic effort led by Liia Kivelä here in Leiden.
