When @notredame.bsky.social anthropologist LF Murillo reached out to me to collaborate on SEEK Commons I had no idea how much our team was about to learn from him and his collaborators like @bluerasberry.bsky.social, nor how much fun we would have doing it!
Last week, SEEKCommons put on their second Community Call for 2025: “Commoning and Collaboration on Gala: From Open Educational Resources to Open Ecosystems in Ecology,” presented by Ed Waisanen and @rebeccajd.bsky.social!

Little Traverse Bay Band archivist Eric Hemenway and his collaborators on the Inclusive History Project @uofmichigan.bsky.social visited our classroom @umseas.bsky.social today. They inspired us to explore a wide range of records, artifacts and narratives from many voices about our school’s past

Fascinating to think with: more volatile climates, a more flexible (or chaotic and upended) work week, and ever smarter AI will all shape both our embodied, highly personal and our aggregated knowledges of beyond human worlds

Got to talk about cars and colonialism yesterday rethinking the history of Charles Bedaux, his relationship to Citroen, expeditionary exploits, marketized efficiency, and his suicide, confronting resistance by organized labor and clear villainy of his nazi cronies. Then walked ypsi car carcasses!

I wish this was satire.
Having watched with growing alarm the developments of the last 24 and 36 hours in Washington, I thought I’d take a stab at how the US media would cover this story if it was happening in a foreign country. Here’s that story that should be written this weekend: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/musk-s-jun...
