Last thing I will say on this re; how segregated TikTok is. Black booktokers have given me some really great recs, including Natasha Bishop who got picked up by trad and I was able give a blurb on the new edition. They are working hard for black authors, but the algorithm doesn’t care.

To be very clear, I’m all for booktok. It’s the current way some people talk about books. What I’m not for is a racist algorithm and publishers abandoning all marketing to one demographic on one app.

I saw what it did to my sister @readingrn1.bsky.social I don't want it to happen again. Working in the COVID era was hard on her and her coworkers. I haven't done direct patient care in almost 10 years. I would NOT want to go back to it knowing all I know now.

Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

I hope if GH doesn't give him story the "somewhere else" he will stay is, Beyond the Gates. They need to give him a job. They'd definitely give him a meaty role.
#GH stays screwing up their pairings. I'm not looking forward to seeing TJs character flounder because they don't know what to do with him. That's what's coming I fear. Molly will have story but he won't. The surrogacy storyline was a perfect example of that.
