So when women & kids were being cloned into non-consensual AI porn, nobody seemed to panic. Everyone is powerless.

But suddenly it takes one 15-second clip of 2 celebrities for everyone to declare a global crisis. Interesting how outrage only becomes urgent when the right people feel exposed.
It took only a 15-second clip of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt duking it out on a crumbling rooftop — made by A.I. with a two-sentence prompt and the click of a button — to draw swift outrage, and sizable fear, from Hollywood.

"It’s nothing short of terrifying," one scriptwriter said.
Why an A.I. Video of Tom Cruise Battling Brad Pitt Spooked Hollywood
A 15-second clip created by an artificial intelligence tool owned by the Chinese technology company ByteDance appears more cinematic than anything so far.

The right partners do not haggle over value — they recognise it.

And when they do, everything becomes easier.

Time is your most valuable asset. Once spent, it never returns. So be ruthless about where you invest it.

Walk away from one-sided partnerships. Walk away from people who want upside without contribution. Walk away from those who negotiate only on price, never on purpose.

Business is not built on discounts. It is built on mutual respect. If someone cannot see your value, you cannot convince them into seeing it and you should not try.

Negotiating against indifference is a losing game... 🧵

What really matters is value & value is not just financial, It's effort, commitment, time, It's belief. If the other party is unwilling to invest even minimum amount of capital, energy or visibility into the deal, that tells you everything you need 2 know. Not about the numbers - about the alignment

Here’s a bit of unsolicited business advice for this Saturday 🧵

Warren Buffett once said: “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”

In any negotiation — partnership, sponsorship, collaboration, investment — there’s always a discussion about price. Money. Terms. Deliverables. Fine.

More people live in Toronto than in the entire country of Norway — yet this “small” Nordic nation somehow wins roughly 2x as many medals as Canada.

5 ½ million people. Fjords. Skis. Relentless excellence.

You have to admire it. Tiny on the map. Giant on the podium. Bravo, Norway.

The amount of energy, time, and money our household puts into not supporting the US economy is astonishing, but worth every loonie.

I’m fully committed to avoiding American products and to keeping both feet firmly off US soil for as long as this trade war drags on.

A reminder to all Canadians: The US administration continues to impose unnecessary & punitive tariffs on Canadian goods, including:

50% on Canadian aluminium, steel & copper
45% on lumber
35% on anything outside CUSMA
25% on cars & parts
10% on oil & gas

Remember that when you open your wallet.
