The problem is: they've mistaken correlation for causation. They think their parents and grandparents had a good life *because* of manufacturing jobs. When, in reality, their parents and grandparents had a good life *despite* manufacturing jobs, because of unions, high taxes, and social policies.

I am guessing buying and strong-arming this through the Delaware legislature will be easier and cheaper than the us presidency and a LOT cheaper than the $55B he will reap as a result
it appears Delaware Dems and the (also Dem) governor are attempting to rip up Delaware corporate law so they can give 55 billion dollars to Elon Musk, with a bill written by Elon's own lawyers www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/02/...
