Need help from parents of BlueSky. Any tips on how to console a nine-year-old who’s devastated that her puppy murdered one of our family’s elves on a shelf?

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

A lazy Sunday morning on the couch with my wife, good coffee and F1 on the TV is just about perfection.

Did not expect to hear Ellie Goulding and Slipknot back-to-back at Planet Fitness. Kinda glad I forgot my headphones at home today.

Not a chance. I love being in the kitchen and love the experience that comes with eating a dish that was carefully prepared, even if it's only just for me.
Dropped this over at the other place earlier today. Any thoughts?

I know the act of cooking brings a lot of people joy, but if I could afford to never cook another meal for myself I absolutely would and I wonder how many people are like me?

A trip to Tennessee wouldn’t be complete without a black bear sighting, right?

Today has been a day. The fun started around 7:30am when I found this guy inviting himself inside when I went to let the dogs out.

It feels really hard to focus when earlier this week my kids' school was the target of a bombing/shooting attack and, now, I'm learning about an attack that could just as easily happen on my campus. My heart goes out to FSU students, faculty and staff.

Just finished “Adolescence.” Totally gutted. Parenting is terrifying. The world is terrifying.

I want to start building a playlist for when it happens. Who’s got some suggestions?

I know I’m late to the party in this but…

Thinking about the Penguins struggles and wondering if Ron Hextall as the Pens’ GM was an elaborate ruse to plant a Philly operative within the organization in order to destroy it.

@edsbs.bsky.social I’m watching D2S and getting pumped for the start of the F1 season.

It’s got me thinking about my favorite team (Ferrari) and how it’s similar to PSU football. Fairly high levels of resources and talent that often underachieves, comically, due to bad decision making. Fair?

On my third time watching Ted Lasso. I’m far from an expert but Nate Shelly is easily a top 5 most detestable character in TV history.

I was on four different flights from Sunday through Monday and worried about a situation like this the entire time...
Breaking (ABC News): A Southwest Airlines plane landed safely at Chicago Midway International Airport after a close call with a business jet that "entered the runway without authorization," according to the FAA.
