Just to be clear I can and will criticize veilguard!! Its not above criticism more than any other piece of art. But, and I cannot stress this enough, the backlash around Taash and the overuse of their image and story in bad faith "criticism" is based in transphobia.

Taash was beset with transphobia from the very beginning. I was in the trenches b4 DAV dropped fighting against transphobic rhetoric for the very *possibility* of a trans companion existing.
But Taash is so important. To me. To the "culture". Because their very exisistence is a hard won victory. +
