It's funny how Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 fans talk about JRPGs with the same tone of an anime fan saying "unlike other mecha anime, this one is about the characters and not the robots."

Gundam Wing is one of my least favorite Gundam anime, but even I have to admit wow those robots be cool.
Between the Super Famicom game, Versus, and Battle Assault 2, I have more fondness towards them as fighting game characters than anime characters.
