Finally saw Sinners and I was NOT expecting to see my birthday as thee date(s) for the film.
...nor was I prepared to cry/have a damn near (if not actual) spiritual experience at the Sammie juke club scene. I gotta see it again on the IMAX screen, idk.

Reposting to incorporate this to my practice 👀
My method for not burning myself out while drawing is to have multiple pieces at the same time. When I'm stuck on one artwork I can switch to the other and still make progress. Even if its just one little brush stroke. This way drawing became more casual.

Ok so, I haven't learned to whistle till... Like... Adulthood (now).
And I still don't know what I'm doing or how I'm getting better.
I tend to do it by mistake and, really, thanks to having a dog I'm FORCED to get better 😅

Voter suppression is very much alive in the southern states.
My mom’s advanced age means she can’t write anymore and now Alabama has enacted a law that says poll workers can no longer help the elderly fill out ballots without the threat of serious jail time, which means she effectively can’t vote.
