I'll probably log my Linux adventure on here. One, because it's fun. Two, because if I break something people can yell at me about how to fix it. And three, because maybe it'll make more people try it out and I can find solace in other Linux desktop newbies.

seeing a lot of people moving from Windows to Linux with very few issues has me finally making the jump to buying another drive to dual boot off of to try it out as a daily driver

you know my past assumption was that the US had some kind of deal lines up with the rest of the Venezuelan government but it's becoming increasingly likely that actually we just went in with no plan and expected kidnapping Maduro to collapse everything

the pessimistic take is that Venezuela is so thoroughly rotted out that everyone around Maduro sold him out for Trumpbux and people are so disillusioned with the government there will be no resistance in the transition to an American puppet dictatorship, at which point it'll be too late

Not really sure what to say. Feels like an Iraq moment but somehow even more stupid. Here's hoping the people of Venezuela can stay safe.

Being 100% real and having seen how twitter dead enders are they're going to peek in here for like 2 days, not follow anyone or do any curating, and go back to twitter to complain about how boring and scoldy bsky is. Any outrage about this from twitter users is strictly performative lol.
There have been no good reasons for staying on Twitter for years now, but at this point you will have to follow up any of your remaining excuses with “…and I don’t care about the child pornography.”
This does seem just a little bit bad! Idk the sort of thing you’d think politicians might distance themselves from or something!
