Oh sure. Just a tomb with a missing occupant. That’s probably fine.

I’m not sure I feel like cuddling Gollum.

Even though my life has been crumbling and busy, I’m very excited that one of my short stories on rotation has been picked up by @lunastation.bsky.social “A Hint of Sugar” will be available in their March issue..

This is my writing account but now everyone is over here and I have to decide if it's going to be my new everything social account.

I think they have a service for writers that’s an acceptance service. Like you sign up, go through the submissions process, wait, and then you get a nice note back about your writing. Wouldn’t that be nice? 😊

I have an illogical hate of Office’s default font, Calibri. Does everyone just have that one font they can’t stand?

I like a good gothic/ghost/horror mystery heavy on story - any suggestions?

I’m starting to really think that I cannot, in fact, do it all. How do you choose which thing you enjoy and/or really have to do to give up??

I love seeing this. It's a reminder that this is not a competition, but a community. There's plenty of readers in the world to go around, we just need ways to find them and convince them we are worth their time and money.

I have a weekend hangover. I mean, I didn’t drink anything, but I’ve tried to accomplish too much with my weekend and now I just don’t wanna.

My carb of the week this week is going to be…this challah bread I’ve had in my freezer for 4 months! Wish me luck :)

Finally finished this story I’ve been hammering on slowly. Now to cut half of it. I’ve apparently learned nothing in my writing journey.

For writers out there - do you “write out” things in your life? Like for example, if your best friend betrayed you would you then write a story about the main character’s best friend betraying them that closely matches your experience?

Why yes I would like to sign up for the waitlist for jam made by a princess. Meghan Markle apparently has a “lifestyle brand” called American Riviera Orchard that’s going to be putting out strawberry jam. As a jam fan I have to know!! (Although I know technically she’s not a princess)

I like being a writer because I can take all the trauma and bad feelings and make use of them. In theory. In practice it’s very much harder.

I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but after about a year of feeling like I couldn’t write I got inspiration and put some words down! Will it continue? Not sure, but it’s a good sign since I was starting to worry it would never come back.

This baby right here is my bottle of emotional support Tums. I take some in the morning pretending it will stop the stomach-churning existential dread.

I love jam and have a great stockpile of interesting flavors - but I need to use it up faster to get to them!! Is eating it straight from the jar forbidden?
