“There’s no borders for us.”

And there are no borders for the Porcupine caribou herd.

"We've been fighting for 40 years for this, … there's way more at stake than anyone ever knows.”

Join the fight.

Two things: 1. When I heard about Citizens United the first words out of my mouth were, "America is doomed." I left the country two years later. 2. The shit has hit the fan, and I am heartened by the non-violent response of Americans. They know it's a trap and their democracy depends upon restraint.

Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

I wasn't in Manitoba for the March 1966 blizzard, but I was there in April 1976. A lot of places looked like this. Not kidding.

My guess is Mark Rutte reminded (educated) Trump that Greenland is littered with US bases that have been empty since the end of the cold war, and that there is already a security agreement in place between Denmark and the US.
What we know about Trump's 'framework of a future deal' over Greenland
Denmark and Greenland have made it clear they will not relinquish sovereignty of the world's largest island.
