Europa sollte geschlossen die Fußball-WM 2026 boykottieren. Lasst uns doch in Europa stattdessen ein fröhliches völkerverbindendes Fußballturnier austragen. Die Zeit der FIFA sollte vorbei sein. Gründen wir stattdessen eine kleine, gemeinschaftlich organisierte Non-Profit-Fußballvereinigung.

Wenn die Reichen immer reicher werden, u.a. weil der Staat sie steuerlich schont, fehlen ihm irgendwann die Einnahmen, mit denen er seine Grundfunktionen finanziert. Die zunehmende Ungleichheit gefährdet die Handlungsfähigkeit des Staates. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das allen klar ist.

Indeed. Tariffs is an import tax, that the buyer pays. There is no income from abroad, it's a tax. It makes imported goods more expensive. One doesn't earn money on this, as a consumer you loose. The US government gets it's money from the American consumers. Period.
