The UK is considering a policy that would effectively segregate trans people from society. It would bar trans people from "single sex spaces" even when they use the facility of their sex assigned at birth.

This is a full on policy of segregation without even the benefit of separate facilities.

massive blazing foghorn noise to make sure everyone knows that Benediction – Terence Davies' final film, one of the best of the decade so far, not available to buy in any physical format beyond DVD anywhere except France for some reason – is up on iPlayer for a full year
Benediction
The story of English poet, writer and soldier Siegfried Sassoon.

there is a zero percent chance this is worse than Last Night in Soho
‘RUNNING MAN’ debuts with 69% on Rotten Tomatoes, the lowest score for an Edgar Wright-directed film.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

went to an LGBTQ+-friendly dance class and enjoyed it (wasn’t very GOOD but that’s not the point!!) but I still didn’t know how to go about really talking to people, social anxiety stays strong

among all the "yass slay" responses, I think it's worth considering that glamour mag believes that trans ppl+allies are a bigger consensus than the gc dogma in the UK

and that is a SIGN
The fearmonger-in-chief also had a winge about it. I won’t share her tweet, but this was Glamour’s reply. 💀

this but also people getting onto the tube/trains before people have exited. wait your fucking turn you selfish bastards, there’ll be more room if you do!!!
people playing music/videos on their phone speakers in public is more than just mildly annoying and is instead a leading indicator of the decline of community and empath
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

obviously I loved BLUE MOON, with its extremely literary script about theatre, but it is one of the best scripts in a minute

and Ethan Hawke is enrapturing
