Spent today with family, taking mementos from my Nan & Grandad’s house.
Coming home with their turntable (of course) and some watercolour paintings by my mum. Quite a few paintings throughout the house, so we all came away with something by her as well as trinkets of Nan’s.

When I was a grotty little teenager devouring metal left right n centre, I did wonder if one day I’d be past it all.
My taste in music has definitely broadened throughout the years, but I guess it’s that cliched thing of being a lifer.

Tomorrow may be the first Christmas Day I’ve looked forward to in a long old time. That’s quite a sad sentence I guess, but we’re headed over to Worle, to be with what’s left of my Mum’s side of the family. Haven’t had a Christmas with my cousins & aunties in forever. Honestly can’t wait.
