Spent all of yesterday processing apples. We have had a bumper crop this year, and I've already invited multiple neighbors over to pick what they can. 13 pints of sauce, a gallon of vinegar, a full dehydrator, and turnovers with brown butter maple glaze. I still have tons more to go! 🥴

The alpacas had their first shearing day since we got them last fall. It went pretty well! Got their nails and vaccines done too.

The meatballs got moved onto pasture today. We built them a fancy new pvc tractor, the pallet one we built a couple years ago was too heavy and is starting to fall apart. 🐔🍗

This is the year you must start growing your own food. You do not need land to do this. Grow lettuce and herbs in your windowsill. Grow potatoes in a 5 gallon bucket. Partner with a neighbor who has a lawn and use that space to grow food for you both to share. Guerrilla garden in empty lots.
