It’s spooky season, but let’s not make it scary for wildlife! 🎃👻

Fake web decorations can trap and injure our garden wildlife. Stick to sustainable, indoor decorations and let real spiders do the work outdoors!

Went to see Scottish Ballet perform Mary Queen of Scots tonight. What a show, absolutely breathtaking. The whole cast were fantastic and the music was unbelievably good. Go and see it if you get the chance. Bhithinn ga mholadh!

Artists have always loved to sketch!

Sketch of a sparrow from Egypt dated c. 1479–1458 BC.

Some 3,500 years ago in Egypt, artists used small flakes of limestone as sketchpads!

Did you know Scotland's first free public lending library is nearly 350 years old? 🤔

Innerpeffray Library in rural Perthshire has welcomed readers from all walks of life since 1680, when it was founded by local landowner David Drummond, the third Lord Madertie.

I've added a video for my song So what now? to my Youtube channel. As ever its minimalist cinema in the extreme, but that's what I like. Hope you like the tune.

Lucky for Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland that they aren’t in a union with England like Scotland otherwise they couldn’t have passed their own gender self-ID laws

The sky didn’t collapse on any of those countries btw
