The thing is, none of the problems in DCA were unknown. DOD & FAA are supposed to be in regular contact on shared airspace, the helo route is published, the airline overscheduling & ATC understaffing issues are well documented.

None. Of. This. Was. A. Secret.

But as Will shows, it was all ignored.
For the last few months, I've been working on a story about January's crash near Washington, D.C. What I learned was that it was simply an accident waiting to happen.

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social has been out of office less than a year and transportation seems to be falling apart… Every domestic flight trip for me in the past month has had ridiculous delays or cancelations.

Cole Schmidtknecht, 22, had insurance but couldn’t afford to refill his asthma inhaler after the cost jumped from $70 to more than $500.

Five days after his pharmacy visit last year, Cole had a severe asthma attack and died. nbcnews.to/4mM9cGV

The feeling when you buy a car from a dealer and the E light comes on 3 minutes after you drive off the lot…

Context: This was a used car, but by no means a deal.

What the hell, this looks like the use of AI and search terms to remove images??? And then doubling down by attempting to defend the stupidity?

Military to remove 'Enola Gay' photos for violating DEI rules
A photo of Army biologists was on a list of images to be purged, seemingly because it mentioned they were recording data about fish that included their gender.
