While Angus King's explanation may hold some merit, capitulation often signifies a failure to adequately advocate for the people's interests. Even in the face of adversity, the public still expects to see resolute action on behalf of their interests, not a hasty surrender.

So his argument is: as long as someone is out of their mind, they're off the hook? That sounds even worse 😂 The pardon system is serious business—it shouldn't turn into a contest of who's more confused.
