One of my friends taught me types of stitches, and I tried granny squares, but ultimately I found amigurumi much more fun to create! Once you learn the stitches and the shorthand on patterns it should be relatively easy to continue on!

October should be 8 and September should be 7 (and Nov and Dec too but Sept and Oct are more important in my brain) and people really shouldโve thought about that more before going and changing the months all willy-nilly

I never really got doing New Yearโs resolutions until last year when I decided mine was to listen to a new musical artist each month, which went well! This year, Iโve decided my resolution is to read more library books. Letโs see how it goes!!

I just found out that around 20% of the neanderthal genome still exists today in living people!!
No individual person has more than 3 or 4% but we don't all have the same bits. If you add up all the bits we've found, about a fifth of the Neanderthal genome is still present on earth today.

Youโre not violating a reading rule if you opt not to finish a book that's not resonating with you. Life is finite and we thus have a finite number of books to read. Reading shouldnโt be a chore. You neednโt feel guilty for ensuring that your time reading is spent reading things that you love.
