To be clear: This resolution is completely unnecessary and all it does is stoke fear and encourage discrimination and hateful rhetoric about our immigrant neighbors. We should be better than this.

Another provision in the “help the rich get richer” scheme: repealing the estate tax - which only about 0.2% of estates pay any given year. This will only further concentrate wealth in white, already wealthy families, increasing disparities.

I’ve been slowly diving into the plan set out by policymakers in Washington for tax extensions and budget cuts and will be sharing some of the more despicable ones.
We are going to pay for deep tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires by raising taxes on single parents… because that makes sense.
