I am thinking of leaving Bluesky for the sake of my mental health. I like having somewhere to post my silly art. And I like being able to engage with other artists… but it also doesn’t feel like I am invested enough to offset the stress social media causes. I don’t know. I can’t decide.

I’ve been trying to ink this for nearly a week but I cant quite seal the deal. It’s the hair that gets me. I’m just not very good at hair, and she’s like 90% hair by volume.
Anyway here’s a WIP of Grand Mother Silk. Hopefully I finish it, idk.

There should be a name for the feeling you get when you post your art online and don’t realize until MUCH later that some of the layers were in the wrong order when you exported the image :/

Every piece I draw, there are certain elements that feel particularly satisfying to me as an artist. It’s usually something small, like the depth implied by simple crayon highlights over watercolor.
