I am conducting my first solo review of a preprint. When I skimmed the manuscript, my heart fluttered when I realized I could offer some microscopy suggestions. It's incredible how much I learned during graduate school.

New: Trump officials have paused all external communications at health agencies like CDC, FDA, NIH.

No health alerts and the famed MMWRs; no updates to key websites or social media posts.

And no indication how long the pause will last.

I seek a legitimate remote job in health and disease research—biology, biochemistry, etc. I am working my way into microscopy.

For Maths fans, 2025 is a square.
45² = 45 x 45 = 2025
Also,
9² x 5² = 2025
40² + 20² + 5² = 2025
My favourite?
1³+2³+3³+4³+5³+6³+7³+8³+9³ = 2025

I'm grateful for all the free eaudiobooks I read through the public library. I've only read approximately 25 books this year, but writing a dissertation should count for something. Lol.
It also makes it harder for them to ban books.

As my Mom pointed out, I have an ISBN! My dissertation abstract is live (the rest is embargoed). Without that constant stress hanging over me, I have been wandering around. Taking naps. Lol. Tomorrow is my last Chem. Dept. Holiday Party.🎉 #PhD #Graduation on 12.16.24👩🏾‍🎓 #Doctor Q

Wow! I typed in my current hyphenated name, and this tool even found our 2006 paper, where my maiden name was listed. That usually doesn't happen in most searches. Check it out:

I'm checking this app out. I've been deep in a dissertation writing hole since summer, so I didn't know this existed. I hope it's better than Twitter. Those pre-election ads were intrusive and annoying. So far, I'm primarily seeing pictures of cats and nature. 👍🏾
