i remembered the scene in ff8 (as i do) where the sorceress kills the president in front of a crowd and i was like "why were they all just cheering like nothing happened" so i looked it up and apparently she cast a spell of "get a load of this you gawking freaks" to make them love it

rabbit and steel is a really great game if you want to feel the rush of FFXIV raiding without needing to grind a bunch of chores to get the gear for it. and its a good pick-3 roguelike game. its also very touhou

re: last share: i grew up on forums but i am not really nostalgic or wanting to go back to them, i really do just want a place where i can have a tight-knit community that can share stuff with each other as adults. if i could just remove all the bad shit from discord i would love to keep using it

Forums are nostalgic to people of exactly my age, but I think they just have a different combination of the weaknesses of chat clients and social media. I think what ppl miss is having a small, close-knit community, and that's increasingly hard to replicate as corpos own it all.

im not gonna get hung up on the discord thing for too long because i have better stuff to put my emotions and thought into but i'm so sick of the pg-13ification of the internet that does nothing to help the people it claims to be helping, and stamps out queers and artists
