Ok for the most part I think S5 is doing what it needs to do for the General Audience, but mostly....it's giving ME, US, THE IMPORTANT PEOPLE, so much fixit fic to write, we can fuel this fandom for years to come, and I think that's beautiful.

i don't think i'm gonna read the Nancy book (i haven't read any of the others) but I do want a plot rundown, in case there are things to mine for fic purposes.

I know one of the guiding precepts of "young adult" media, or media that casts young adults in the hero roles, is that adults can't be competent or the whole plot falls apart, but sometimes...we need some competent adults in the room.
Anyway, post-Starcourt AU where Robin is like ...what do you mean I can't tell my parents? Fuck you all, I'm not signing shit, I'm a minor and I keep 1 (one) secret from my parents already, I can't keep more than that. And goes ahead and tells her parents everything. I just think the group could use
You know what's interesting to me? Nancy was such a big advocate in S2 for telling Barb's family the truth, but never have I heard her (or any of the other characters) advocate for reading their *own* parents in on things. Like yes, Barb died and she wanted to give her parents closure, but...there's
