Three questions transformed my spiritual journey on joining the Quakers

Could I be wrong?
Which opened me up to grow.

What would love demand?
Setting a direction of travel.

What is more important?
When unclear about what to prioritise.

What questions helped you on your spiritual journey?

Friends have always practiced an experiential and Spirit-led faith based on continuing revelation, making them suspicious of the traditions of the Church. But since the seventeenth century, all Quakers have inherited a pre-existing tradition of their own.

Thousands are denied a payment each year, at a time when funeral costs have skyrocketed.

This week, we’re asking the question “Do Quakers read the Bible?” The answer is not a simple 'yes' or 'no', but a journey into a faith that has been both wounded and liberated by the very same pages.

Quakers believe there is “that of God in everyone”, and that violence can never be justified.

As a result, many Quakers have mixed feelings about Remembrance Day. Some wonder if military involvement in the day risks celebrating rather than commemorating.
