I'm going to keep saying that there is very simple, very specific power in saying "No".
By saying no you're creating a boundary giving the other party their chance to change tack. It's literally putting the response on them.

When Trump and MAGA talk about invading our sovereign states with military force they're trying to antagonize us into an altercation. If they can't incite one from us they will assuredly just create one. Who knows,maybe they already have.

I'm curious if the influencers, for lack of a better term, here on BS just copy-paste their posts from the other platforms and don't really participate here beyond that. I imagine they just use an app that posts across social media.

I think it's important to name your fears. If journalist can say "I'm afraid of retaliation" they can meet the crisis head on rather than holding their fears in silence. The alternative is, of course, that they're not afraid, they're complicit. It's one or the other.
If you want to understand the failure of our media, since Kirk’s murder Republicans have fanned out across the media for interviews, all claiming Dems calling Trump ‘fascist’ causes violence. And not a single interviewer has pushed back with: ‘But Trump called Harris a fascist!’

I know people wouldn't like to hear this but it bears saying into the ether: You can't make/force people into your belief system. I mean you can, look at ISIS and the Taliban, but you will never EVER be secure in your beliefs until people are allowed to adopt or discard them.

If I was an American company I sure wouldn't want to advertise with Disney or ABC or any of their properties any time soon. I know they're already comfortable selling to countries with extremely limited rights but this here is America and we have a Constitution with a 1st Amendment.

I'm thinking that part of what's happening right now is that they've flooded the airwaves with their loonies. Then, just in case you haven't seen the outrageous violent threatening hostile posts they've made we stitch or repost them, this exponentially spreading their version of news.
