I don’t usually do this. If anyone wants to help me move. In need to get out of this place. My stress level is too high and I’m gonna wind up in the hospital. Or worse. The extra charges for rent. The stupid notices. The no help from maintenance. It’s all the things.

I woke up to this.

I called- it was just one box. A box that could’ve came from anywhere. First they want to charge me for having an extra trash can. Then, they want me to clean up the sawdust that snow fell on to. It’s not my job to clean up after the people who cut down the trees.

I spent my childhood inside of American concentration camps. I know one when I see one. And that is what ICE is building.

Jesse Jackson, whose impassioned oratory and vision of a “rainbow coalition” of the poor and forgotten made him the nation's most influential Black figure in the years between the civil rights crusades of Martin Luther King Jr. and the election of Barack Obama, died on Tuesday at 84. Follow live.

THE FOUR WINDS is about a resilient woman's struggle to survive with her children during the Dust Bowl. Not my usual kind of book—@dhlawrencexvii.bsky.social suggested I could learn from the audiobook narrator, which I did—but I also enjoyed the book immensely between bouts of story-induced sobbing.

I have probably seen this somewhere, but not recently. I tried counting up with my books. I got up to 7. I could have had 9 if I still had my copy of From a Buick 8. 😂

How high can you go? Have you read any of these?
