All the drawings are for Pokemon on the Switch. The claims section of the actual patent, however, is very broad.
The sole inventor is listed as "Shigeru Ohmori" who's first Pokemon games were Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Fuck everyone who worked on the original Red and Blue games, I guess.
