There has been a Nintendo Switch 2 hidden right under my nose for 2 months so I will in fact be jumping on Pokemon Legends Z-A this week. 🥺 I can't wait to collect shinies (or scream trying)

I am having a CT scan on my brain today. I'm a little nervous, but mostly just stressed about getting to and from the hospital on time. 😅 ADHD waiting mode is actually a nuisance.

I'm so tired of trying to get my flu vaccine. My local pharmacy & GP only give them under certain circumstances. I tried to book privately, no appointments for weeks. Finally find one further away that had appointments, they took payment then blocked me from their site for "security concerns". 😠

I've been writing every day again and I'm so excited for all the world-building I've been doing. This is a world I started creating like 15 years ago, and to finally get back to the story I wanted to tell in it is so exciting. 😭

At a friend's birthday party this evening, three girls came up to apologise to me because they'd mistaken my jacket for one of theirs and were going through my pockets.
It was the random trinkets including a tiny bell that clued them in that it wasn't theirs. 😂

Having a bit of an off day but allowing myself time to rest instead of pushing through. Old me would've been upset with myself, but I'm actually kind of proud that I can do this and not beat myself up. 💜

I feel like this whole year has been on autopilot for me because of trauma & loss, which made me feel a little sad as I didn't get hyped for Halloween like I usually do. But then I realised that despite it all, I'm still here, and that's worth celebrating. I am grateful to still be doing my thing.

Just a random thought but the way my family made fun of me growing up and still do as an adult for the way I dress or style my hair or do my makeup or the things I like and choose to share with them is probably a really big part of why I am the way I am. 🙃
