The PSU Friedman Observatory will be open this Friday, October 10, 2025 starting at 7 PM for an open house. The waning quarter moon will rise late, and Saturn should be above the trees starting about 8:45 PM.

The Friedman Observatory will be open this Friday, October 3, 2025, at 7 PM. We are starting an hour earlier now that it's darker earlier in the evening. There will be a bright moon, so we will be observing the moon and bright milky way objects.
