PSI researcher Cornelius Hempel performs calculations on quantum phenomena using quanta.⚛️He uses ion traps to effectively slow down time and thus study ultra-fast chemical reactions – e.g. molecules in the retina of the eye.👀

Detective work for safe syringes 🕵️‍♀️
A team from ANAXAM & PSI has shown that zinc from the needle shield could in rare cases contribute to the clogging of pre-filled syringes. State-of-the-art imaging techniques available at PSI were used to look inside the needle. 💉🔬 #MedTech
