Last week, we rounded out 2025 with a final citizenship workshop at WilmerHale! Together we helped 28 eligible green card holders take an important step toward U.S. citizenship by completing their N-400 applications.

Our Executive Director, Gail Breslow, wrote an op-ed in the Boston Globe responding to the sudden USCIS policy change that canceled naturalization ceremonies for applicants from 19 countries, including many of our clients who had already completed every requirement to become U.S. citizens.

At our Morgan Lewis workshop last week, one participant shared that they wanted to become a citizen, “To feel secure from deportation and be able to travel without legal repercussions. Also, I would like to sponsor my dad to come to the U.S.—he’s the last family member missing here.”
