Artists… learn how to say thank you to a compliment, or, I would love feedback if you have any! Rather than, oh I’m awful, my art sucks.
It’s… actually not modest, it puts everyone in a weird spot when you degrade yourself, and I REALLY GET THaTS HARD!

I think this is a complex issue.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with borrowing the articulation of a creator who managed to find words for a feeling you felt but couldn’t word, it’s one of the first steps to being able to formulate that criticism yourself in the future.

My even more unpopular opinion is unless you have personally experienced the thing, you should probably refrain from having an opinion on it.
We need to return to shaming people for parroting YouTube/TikTok with stuff like "When I want your opinion, I'll just find the YouTuber who gave it to you."
