The current environment is making it near impossible to run clinical trials in the UK.
One key issue discussed in @brain1878.bsky.social
is the duplication - or worse - of regulatory oversight at NHS hospitals & universities.

Very similar situation for us - waiting times are now just over 6 months (down from a year) and we are trying to catch up. Terrible, but maybe improving if we can keep staff. Thanks for highlighting/sharing.
Five new patients in memory clinic yesterday- busy day!Our memory clinic waiting times have been unacceptably long, nearly a year to first appointment back in the summer. This has consequences- people become unwell, high risk situations emerge before they are seen, families seek private assessment
