I’ve reached that point of the year when I’ve almost caught up on all my podcasts and have started listening to them at normal speed in order to make them last, but then repeatedly worrying that the hosts have had a medical incident as they seem to be speaking so slowly!

Delighted that Inside Out Dorset 2023, the festival I produce, has been named a finalist in the Dorset Tourism Awards. Our last festival in 2021 won the award and went on to win the category at the SW Tourism Awards, so fingers crossed for a repeat.

As someone who is autistic, I’m glad to see that charity Ambitious About Autism have finally removed Gregg Wallace as an ambassador. I wrote to them 2 years ago, when some previous allegations had become public, and they were happy to defend him, despite his clearly problematic behaviour.

Me and the dog were joined on our walk this morning by this group of very friendly New Forest ponies. Always keep my distance but they were determined to say hello!

Tomorrow is the last Serving Sounds show of 2024. Working Boys Club will be taking their musical bar to Rotherham for the 10th annual Reclaim the Night event. They’ll be at Grimm & Co from 4pm before joining the walk at 6pm. Everyone’s welcome so do come along. #rotherham #reclaimthenight
