"Stuck on an island of food? Mmm...I have been trapped in worse places before... "While it is a shame, a great shame, in fact, that there isn't any history at all to this island, I believe the culinary confections that spread so bountifully across it are more than enough to make up for it. It seems that all civilizations that have tried to settle down on this island were inevitably gobbled up by the beasts and plantlife here, who in turn, were devoured by the island itself. Such a scary thing, the circle of life, yet strangely captivating taking my place in the cycle into account. Of course, if I'm to be training here for two years, I must practice my self-restraint... ...at some later date. For now, I cannot resist the calls that my stomach makes to explore and taste all this island has to offer. As much as our cook delivers wonderfully healthy and delicious meals, bless his heart, I never would've known I had such an appetite for the filling. Glutting out in a similar manner to our captain, perhaps only now am I beginning to understand what it truly means to be a pirate. In a way, this is a sort of training I can do. And in that case, I cannot let my crew down. Killing two birds with one stone, tasting all this forest of gluttony has to offer while becoming a true decadent and hedonistic pirate for my crew... It almost makes me think two years is too short of a time."
