i have failed so dismally at social media the last six months, because while life in Germany is good it's also been super hard. The stereotype of German efficiency is a total lie, but the one about aggressive bureaucracy ain't, that's for sure

Gen AI sucks and would Miyazaki agree, yeah sure, BUT that quote about "an insult to life itself" is specifically about body horror being ableist. Someone procedurally made 3D bodies flail around and said "these could be zombies" and he said "that's really mean." A completely different valid take

i think it's deeply fucked when a creative uses LLM/GenAI/whatever you wanna call it, to remove a fellow creative from the ~Process~. Feels like it's usually artists who put the dollar at the apex of everything they do. STINKY AND GROSS
