It's strange, they had remarkably different endings, different characters, fought with goals that contrasted insanely.. and yet their mindsets in the end found a similar foothold.
They let their conviction fade in the moment they lost, laying in the dirt they reflected on their wrongs.

At first I didn't want to believe it, but something about this exchange practically begs it into existence. Maybe it will never be fully addressed.. that said, would the two girls now out themselves in needless harms way when the clawgrime comes for her..?

See ever since sage mode was introduced I wanted more of it, it felt like it was going to be a path of depth in terms of power and I expected more rather then two main users of nature chakra (that being mitsuko and Naruto)

I don't know what the fan base consensus is rn, but I've personally decided that Mahito is hiding inside of Tsurugi, where his Cursed energy wouldn't be detectable. I think that he's looking for Yuji's reincarnation so he can take the first strike. (Yuji prolly made a binding vow In Shibuya.)

Himawari still lives in the Uzumaki household at her own request to protect the residence.
