Hey, if you follow me, I don’t wanna do a jump scare, so I’ll tell you off the bat that I’m very much NOT a fan of using our tax $$$ to fund a genocide. Generally don’t like genocides full stop. Also VERY into letting trans humans live full lives w access to hormones & gender-affirming care. 🇵🇸🏳️‍⚧️🇵🇸🏳️‍⚧️
He’s pouting because he doesn’t get Greenland. “I was the most peacefulest, but I didn’t get the prize for that, so I’m gonna start civil and world wars.” I am so embarrassed.

I'm a bad chorister. Couldn't remember if I'd sung the Mozart Mass in C. Looking around, I realized that I was actually ON a recording of it. So I guess I answered that for myself. I fully remember Missa Solemnis, but I don't remember the Mass in C at all. I mean, it was a really long time ago. 🤷‍♀️

@katie.hipopener.com I haven't been to NYC in literally years, but I'll be there briefly March 28-30. Flying up to see Oh Mary.

I finished my book last night. Finished my puzzle yesterday. On track to finish a sweater I’ve been working on for a year and a half (on and off) today. Took tree down. I am feeling very accomplished today. {fluffs hair}

I’m posting about this again, because it’s a real question, and I want a real answer. HOW DO I GET GOOGLE HOME TO STOP ASKING ME IF I WANT GEMINI? I NEVER WANT IT!
January 3, 2026 at 2:14 PM
For the love of dog, is there any way to get Google Home to stop asking me if I want AI? No. No now. No later. No tomorrow. No forever. I never want it. Stop it. I just wanted speakers. They've been speakers for years. Can't they just stay speakers?

I think I have RSV. Been pretty sick since the 26th. I'd hoped to do more in this gap, but hey, I have nothing I have to do. Plus my husband is here recovering from hip replacement. Some years, you're on a grand adventure. Some years, you're sick, resting, knitting, and watching crap on TV...

For Christmas, he got another new hip. Well two. One installed inside of his body and another they gave him to show his friends. So I guess he has three. 😅

Imagine watching Sinatra, son of Dolly & Antonini born in Genoa & Sicily, respectively, and Martin, son of Gaetano & Angela, born in Montesilvano, Italy & Ohio respectively, (Angela to parents born in Monasterolo, Italy), and crusading against the value of children of immigrants to the U.S.

Moms are amazing (non-Mom here). I’m at PT with my husband, and there’s a mom here doing squats down the room holding her 12 week old baby for pelvis floor therapy. Chatted with her. Said about her baby, “She broke it. She can help fix it!” 🥹
